How Sign ‘n’ Talk works?
SignNTalk empowers a deaf person to communicate with the hearing world using sign language. Not everyone knows sign language. As a result, a hearing impaired person has problems communicating ideas or thoughts effectively.
SignNTalk acts as a bridge to connect the hearing impaired with the hearing world. None of the parties have to worry and think about how will the other person understand the dialogue as the SignNTalk interpreter will act as a communication stop-gap solution.
The Only requirement a deaf caller requires is a computer with internet connectivity to log on to SignNTalk website and a decent camera so that whatever the deaf caller signs the SignNTalk interpreter can see clearly.
How we work
- Deaf and hard of hearing person logs in on the SignNTalk website.
- The deaf caller fills in the Call details such as Name & number of the person and connects to the SignNTalk interpreter
- The Sign Language Interpreter connects to the caller's contact through phone
- Sign Language Interpreter then communicates the messages between the deaf caller through sign and speaks to the other contact over the phone
